Several members of the New York University women's track & field team competed at the Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University, on Friday, January 26, in Boston, MA.
Six Violet runners took to the track on Friday, with five of them competing in the mile.
Sabrina Herrmann posted the best time of the group, finishing the race in 5:12.40. She took ninth place in her heat and 58th overall of 135 runners.
Hannah Haley (3rd) and Isabella Steains (9th) ran in a different heat, posting times of 5:20.60 and 5:27.85, respectively.
Also competing in the event for NYU were Morel Malcolm (5:32.97) and Karen Yao (5:49.58).
The lone Violet competing in a different race was Evelyn Nkanga, who crossed the 400m-finish line in 1:00.06, good for 50th place of 86 runners.
