Each team will play two matches on Saturday and one on Sunday in the first Association contests of the season. University of Chicago will host Round Robin II on Oct. 18-19 and Carnegie Mellon University will host the UAA Volleyball Championship Nov. 7-8.
Five UAA teams earned trips to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship last season with Emory reaching the national semifinals. The Eagles (3rd) and Washington University (4th) are ranked in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll with the Tartans and Maroons each receiving votes.
On Sunday, Washington will play Chicago as two-time reigning UAA Coach of the Year Vanessa Walby leads the Bears against the team she coached to its first UAA title in 2013. That day features another battle of NCAA Championship participants when the host Eagles battle Carnegie Mellon, which has already knocked off two nationally ranked teams this season.
