Junior middle hitter Jackie Nelligan was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-America Second Team to highlight three individual All-Americans for the Washington University in St. Louis volleyball team, as announced Wednesday by the AVCA.

Sophomore middle hitter Caroline Dupont and sophomore libero Kalehua Katagiri each received All-America Honorable Mention accolades for the Bears.

Nelligan, who earned honorable mention All-America accolades a year ago, started all 41 matches for the Bears. She led the team with a .325 hitting percentage, 137 total blocks and 0.95 blocks per set. Nelligan finished the season with 315 kills for an average of 2.19 per set. A first-team all-University Athletic Association (UAA) and all-region honoree, she ranked 12^th in NCAA Division III in total blocks, 46^th in hitting percentage and 58^th in blocks per set. Nelligan's 120 block assists rank sixth on Washington U.'s all-time single-season leaderboard, while her 263 career block assists is the ninth-highest total in program history. In addition to being named to the all-tournament teams at the WU/ASICS Invitational, the Elmhurst Invite II and the Bears Invite, she was named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week Sept. 23.

Dupont, a first-team all-UAA and all-region selection, started all 41 matches for the Bears. She led the team with 3.12 points per set, while finishing second on the team in kills (348), kills per set (2.40), hitting percentage (.311), service aces (38), blocks (111) and blocks per set (0.77). She ranked 45^th in NCAA Division III in total blocks and 76^th in hitting percentage. A 2013 first-team All-American, Dupont was named to the all-tournament teams at the Elmhurst Invite II and the NCAA Division III St. Louis, Missouri Regional.

Katagiri, who earned first-team all-UAA and all-region honoree, was the only Washington U. player to play in all 147 sets. She finished with 673 digs, which ranks third on Washington U.'s all-time single-season list. Katagiri averaged 4.58 digs per set, and finished the season with a .964 serving percentage and a .963 reception percentage. She tallied double-digit digs in 35 of 41 matches, including topping the 20-dig mark 12 times. An all-tournament selection at the WU/ASICS National Invitational and the Elmhurst Invite II, Katagiri was selected as the UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week three times during the season.

Washington University finished its season with a 35-6 overall record, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Championship match for the 27^th time in school history.
