No. 1 Emory Earns Road Win At No. 17 Berry College

The No. 1-ranked Emory volleyball team remained undefeated Tuesday evening as it battled its way to a road victory at Berry College. The Eagles upped their season record to 10-0 following a 3-1 decision (25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21) over the No. 17- Vikings who slipped to 8-2.

In an entertaining and hard-fought affair, Emory ended the evening with an attack percentage of .214 (58-24—159) compared to Berry's .195 (51-22—149). Junior Kathryn Trinka led the Eagles' offensive attack with a match-high 15 kills, her ninth outing this season with double figures in that category. Freshman Karissa Dzurik hit a team best .333 and ranked second on the club with 14 successful attack attempts, the fourth time she had reached double digits in that department,  while junior Sarah Maher contributed 13 kills along with a season-high 15 digs.  Senior setter Sydney Miles doled out a season-high 50 assists, her 16th career contest of 50 or more, while freshman Becky Breuer topped the squad with 22 digs, her second-highest total of the year.
