The No. 6-ranked Emory volleyball team boosted its winning streak to 12 matches on Saturday afternoon, as the Eagles recorded a pair of victories over South Region foes. Emory ventured to the campus of Covenant College where it notched 3-0 decisions over Salem College (25-10, 25-11, 25-17) and the host Scots (25-13, 25-12, 25-18). The Eagles are now 16-3 on the year.

Emory limited Salem to a -.111 hitting mark (13-22—81) while registering a .283 (44-16—99) effort. In a contest that saw Emory head coach Jenny McDowell liberally use her bench, the team's offensive attack was led by senior Jessica Holler who hit .778 on the strength of seven kills with no errors in 9 swings. Senior Kathryn Trinka pounded out eight terminations while freshman Morgan McKnight also chipped in seven kills.  Junior Hannah Billings totaled 16 assists with freshman Sarah Porter dishing out 15.

Emory came through with another strong defensive effort in the Covenant affair, holding the Scots to an attack percentage of .045 (25-20—110) while checking in with a .258 mark of its own (37-12—97). Sophomore Sydney Leimbach chalked up a team-best nine terminations, and finished with a hitting performance of .533 (9-1—15) while contributing four block assists. Holler recorded seven successful attack opportunities and dished out three service aces, her sixth outing of the year with two or more in that category. Porter finished with 30 assists and sophomore Becky Breuer led all players with 14 digs.
