Sophomore outside hitter Tara Martin was named Most Valuable Player of the Emory University National Invitational, leading the Eagles to a 3-0 record. She averaged 3.50 kills with a team-best .409 hitting percentage. She hit .500 with nine kills in a three-set win over ninth-ranked Berry College and finished with 17 kills as the Eagles battled back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Wittenberg University.
