Five UAA teams are ranked in the latest United States Track& Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Poll.
Washington University is the top-ranked UAA squad at eighth. Lucy Cheadle of the Bears was named NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country National Athlete of the Week after finishing first in the 559-runner field at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh AAE Invitational.
The University of Chicago and Case Western Reserve University each made huge jumps in(to) the poll. The Maroons, ranked 30th a week ago, are ranked 16th, while the Spartans vaulted to 17th after receiving votes last week.
NYU (25th) and Emory University (30th) remained in the national poll. Carnegie Mellon University also received votes.
