From University of Rochester Athletics
Catherine Knox turned in a superb performance, finishing
second out of 189 runners, as the Yellowjackets opened the women's
cross country season at the SUNY Oswego Invitational on Saturday
afternoon.
The Yellowjackets finished fourth overall out of 13 teams.
RIT was first with 28 points. Cortland was second at 54, Ithaca
third at 69, and Rochester fourth with 101 points.
Knox was clocked in 18:25.4 for the 5K course. Anna Joynt
finished 19th overall in 19:42.3, and
Brianna Loughran was 24th in 19:47.9.
Alyssa Arre ran a time of 19:52.2 to finish
26th. Samantha Kitchen was
30th in 20:00.8.
The Yellowjacket displacers were Audrey McCarthy,
35th overall in 20;15.7, and Jennifer
Klemenz, 36th through the chute in
20:17.3.
