From Case Western Reserve University Athletics

The Case Western Reserve University women's cross country team competed in the Calvin College Knight Invitational on Saturday morning.

The women's team placed seventh of 25 teams.

Senior Kelsey Aamoth (Solon, Ohio/Ohio) led the Spartan women with a third place finish overall, crossing the finish line with a time of 18:05.70. Sohpomore Danielle Kulpins (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield Central) crossed the line with a time of 19:08.00 for 37th and senior Dana Jeter (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) finished next with a time of 19:13.50 for 43rd. Senior Evy Hail (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River) and seniorJuliana Ross (New York, N.Y./Bronx Science) finished with times of 19:20.70 and 19:34.60, for 49th and 56th overall. Senior Veronica Cole (Lakewood, Ohio / Lakewood) finished in 19:36.30 for 58th place and Kristen Ruckstuhl (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor), who rounded out the scoring contingent for the Spartans in 19:39.50, for 62nd place.
