CWRU Places Second at Inter-Regional Rumble

The Case Western Reserve University women's cross country team grabbed a second-place finish overall at the 2015 Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College on Saturday morning. 

Senior Kelsey Aamoth led the Spartan team to a second place finish with a career-best 6K time of 21:27.1 for a fifth place finish out of 244 runners. Senior Evy Hail and sophomore Danielle Kulpins also added career-best marks. Hail crossed the finish line with a time of 22:03.5 and Kulpins recorded a time of 22:09.1 to finish 19th and 24th overall, respectively.

Senior Kristen Ruckstuhl finished 45th overall with a time of 22:34.0 and senior Dana Jeter recorded a new career-best time, crossing the line at 22:35.1 for 46th place. The final finishers for the Spartans included seniors Lydia Greene and Veronica Cole. Greene crossed the line with a time of 22:38.6 for 51st and Cole was just behind her with a time of 22:44.3 for 55th.
