Chicago Dominates St. Francis Invitational

In the first race of the season, the University of Chicago women's cross country team dominated the pack and the men's team posted a strong showing as well at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Invitational on Friday.

Both teams ran 5K in oppressive heat which sapped many of the competitors. The Maroon women blasted past the field and ended up winning the meet by finishing five runners in the top six spots.
