Washington Wins SIUE John Flamer Invitational

The Washington University in St. Louis women's cross country team placed five runners in the top-11 to edge NCAA Division I DePaul University for the team title at the John Flamer Invite hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Saturday morning. 

Senior Ellen Toennies, freshman Ellie Degen and sophomore Alison Lindsay placed second through fourth, respectively, to lead WashU to the team title. The Bears finished with 30 team points, edging DePaul by two points in the field of seven teams.
