CWRU Women Compete at All-Ohio Championships

The Case Western Reserve University women's cross country team finished sixth out of 17 Division III teams at the 2016 All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio on Friday afternoon.

The Spartans were led on Friday by junior Danielle Kulpins, who crossed the finish line of the 6K course with a time of 22:48.3 to finish third among the 118 Division III competitors and 30th overall among 295 total competitors spanning all three Divisions at the meet.  Otterbein's Claire Lamb finished first among DIII runners with a time of 21:43.4.

Sophomore Jennifer Hoffmann was second among all Spartan finishers, placing 22nd in the Division III field and 83rd overall with a time of 23:39.0, while sophomore Isa Torres-Padin was 27th in Division III and 94th overall with a time of 23:59.9.  Rounding of the group of scoring finishers for CWRU were freshman Vanessa Pasadyn, who placed 33rd in DIII and 108th overall with a mark of 24:09.7, and freshman Madeline Lindemann, who finished 58th in Division III and 154th overall with a time of 24:45.6.

Completing the Spartans' top-seven finishers on Friday were sophomore Sophie Trikeriotis with a time of 24:48.1 to finish 59th in the Division III field and 156th overall, and junior Karyn Rapundalo with a time of 24:51.6, who was 160th overall and 60th in Division III at the meet.

The Spartans finished the meet with a score of 143.  Otterbein won the meet with a score of 51, followed by Oberlin (66) and John Carroll (124).
