A number of Rochester women's cross country runners earned top finishes as UR competed at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry Anderson Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Overall, the Yellowjackets accumulated 98 points and finished 4th of 21 teams at the event which was run as a 5k race at Roberts' Matt St. James Cross Country Trails.

UR was paced by four of its top five runners earning spots in the top-25 of the 223 runner field.  Sophomore Rachel Bargabos was the top runner, clocking in at 19:12.6, good for 10th place overall.

Senior Audrey McCarthy wound up 14th in 19:16.6 while junior Clara Wolfe was 18th in 19:28.2.

25th place went to sophomore Ariane Hasbrouck after she crossed the finish in 19:34.6 and junior Ayumi Yuasa completed the UR scoring lineup in 31st place, earning a time of 19:44.2.

Two freshman accounted for the Yellowjacket displacer positions, with Kelly Reese and Julia Myers finishing 44th and 45th respectively.  Reese clocked in at 19:54.8 while Myers was a second behind at 19:55.6.

Finishing off the top-10 runners for UR were junior Kirsten Holmberg, freshman Jordan Floyd and sophomore Samantha Tetef.  Those three ended in 74th, 75th and 76th.

SUNY Cortland took home the team title, accumulating 67 points, including earning one point from race winner Mary Baughman (18:18.1).  Host Roberts Wesleyan was 2nd (77 points) while Daemen was 3rd (89).  Fredonia State finished off the top-5 team scores.
