NYU to Host UAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday

NYU will host the University Athletic Association Championships on Saturday. The championships will be held at Garett Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park, New Jersey, with the women's 6K starting at 11 a.m. followed by the men's 8K at noon.

Five UAA men's teams and four women's teams are nationally ranked in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 35 Poll. 

MEN

Two-time defending UAA champion Carnegie Mellon University enters the championship ranked 12th in the latest national poll. 

Defending co-champion Washington University, which seeks its sixth Association title in eight years, is ranked ninth in NCAA Division III.

University of Chicago is ranked 13th, host NYU 29th, and Emory 35th.

WOMEN

Washington University is looking to capture its fourth consecutive Association championship and is ranked seventh in NCAA Division III.

Chicago enters the championship ranked 15th with Emory (29th) and Case Western Reserve University (34th) also ranked. Carnegie Mellon received votes in the latest poll.
