Madeline Lindemann of CWRU Finishes 98th at NCAA Championships

Making her first ever appearance at a national championship meet, Case Western Reserve University junior Madeline Lindemann finished 98th out of 279 total finishers at the 2018 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Lindemann crossed the finish line of the 6,000-meter course at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wisconsin in a time of 22:32.6.

Washington University's Paige Lawler won the NCAA Division III Championship with a time of 20:55.0, while her Bears claimed the team championship with a score of 98, one point better than second-place Johns Hopkins.

The meet concludes the 2018 cross country season for the Spartans.
