Carnegie Mellon University will host the University Athletic Association Championships on Saturday. The championships will be held at Schenley Park, with the men's 8K starting at 11 a.m., followed by the women's 6K at noon.
Six UAA women's teams and men's teams are nationally ranked in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 35 Poll.
WOMEN
Five-time defending Association champion Washington University is ranked second in NCAA Division III and is joined in the top-10 by seventh-ranked University of Chicago.
University of Rochester (24th), the host Tartans (26th), Emory University (34th), and NYU (35th) enter the championship nationally ranked. Case Western Reserve University also received votes.
MEN
Washington University, which has won or shared seven of the past eight UAA titles, is ranked ninth in the latest USTFCCCA national poll.
Carnegie Mellon is the top-ranked team in the poll, enters the meet ranked fourth, while Chicago is ranked seventh.
Case Western Reserve (20th), Emory (22nd), and NYU (28th) are all in the rankings heading into this weekend's championship.
