On Thursday, December 12, members of the New York University baseball team took time out of their daily workouts to "pitch" in and "step up to the plate" to help collect toys for the Holiday Toys for Tots drive.

The players were assisted by NYU President Andrew Hamilton, who helped the Violets pitch a "perfect game."

NYU's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has been been organizing the toy drive for several years..
