#12 UMW Women’s Tennis Falls at #10 Carnegie Mellon University, 9-0, on Saturday Morning

The twelfth-ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team fell at tenth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University, 9-0, on Saturday morning in Pittsburgh, PA. The Eagles slip to 15-2 on the season.

Carnegie Mellon swept the doubles points to take an early 3-0 lead. The Tartans won by a score of 8-5 in both two and three doubles. They then secured the one doubles point by winning 8-4. 

The Tartans took all six matches in singles, with two of them going to three sets. 

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday as they will travel to St. Mary's for a match at 11 a.m.
