On Sunday afternoon, the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer team fell to New York University, 3-0.

The Violets wasted no time as Rodrigues capitalized off a deflection from SJLI on a corner to fire one in the bottom right corner of the net and take a one-goal lead

Just two minutes later Funk would receive a through ball from Mullady in front of the net to put the Violets up two early

Rodrigues would score the third goal as the Violet was left open at the top of the box where Bevacqua capitalized with the pass to secure the assist

The second half remained scoreless giving NYU the 3-0 victory
