#16 Men’s Tennis Falls at #15 Carnegie Mellon, 5-4, on Saturday Afternoon

The sixteenth-ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team fell to fifteenth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, PA. The Eagles improve to 15-4 overall.

In doubles action, the Eagles swept all three matches to take a 3-0 advantage. Moses Hutchison and Matt Miles won at one doubles 8-1, Patrick Hughes and Michael Fleming won at three doubles 8-6, and Derek Hagino and Ryland Byrd won at two doubles 8-6. 

Hutchison got the lone win in singles as he won 7-5, 6-3 at three singles. 

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday as they will travel to St. Mary's for a match at 4 p.m.
