KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazo College men's tennis team lost 9-0 to No. 1 Case Western Reserve University Sunday morning inside the Markin Center. Kalamazoo entered the match ranked No. 31 in the nation.
The visiting Spartans won all three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches.
Ian Yi/Peter Fitzgerald had the closest match in doubles, falling 8-6 at number one.
Fitzgerald split sets at three singles before falling in a super tiebreaker, 6-2, 4-6, 10-8. Adnan Alousi also had a close match in a 7-5, 6-3 loss at five singles.
Kalamazoo returns to action Saturday, April 16 at DePauw University.
