Women’s Basketball Falls to Brandeis. 74-64
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team endured a 74-4 loss to Brandeis Tuesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Brandeis owned an 18-14 lead after the opening quarter.
- The Judges outscored the Lions 18-13 in the second frame to widen the margin to 36-27 at the half.
- The visitors held a 16-13 edge in third-quarter scoring to stretch their advantage to 52-40.
- Eastern Nazarene cut the deficit to 64-59 with 4:21 remaining in regulation on a free throw by Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.).
- The Lions pulled to within four with 2:36 to go, 68-64, as Te'yalla Simpson (Fairfield, Texas) knocked down a jumper.
- Brandeis chalked up a pair of three-pointers in the final 2:16 to lock up its first road win of the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Alondra Jimenez (Santa Barbara, Calif.) flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds to go with eight assists and four steals.
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) tallied 16 points on the night.
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) finished with 13 points while Sierra Troyer (Milford, Del.) contributed with seven points and four boards off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 33.8% to go with a 13-for-35 effort from behind the arc.
- Brandeis shot 43.5% from the floor and 24% from three-point range on the night.
- Shannon Smally paced the Judges with 17 points while Caitlin Gasko netted 16 points. Emma Reavis posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.
