The Emory University women's basketball team led wire-to-wire Tuesday night, coasting to a 64-19 win over Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. The Eagles head into the holiday break with a 7-2 record while the Scotties fell to 0-9.

Ten of the Eagles' 11 players who saw the floor on the evening recorded at least two points with junior Blair Ripley and sophomore Tori Huggins pacing the visitors with 14 and 10 points, respectively. Huggins grabbed a game-high nine rebounds while freshman Mariane Auza chipped in with six points to go with career-highs in rebounds (8) and steals (4).

Senior Erin Lindahl and sophomore Anna Arato each had eight points apiece to round out the Eagles' top scorers. Sophomore Kennedy Cater dished out a team-high four assists and collected three rebounds and three steals.

Emory limited the Scotties to six points or fewer in all four quarters and held ASC to just 17.1-percent (7-for-41) shooting for the contest. Forward Garis Grant topped the team with 12 points as she made six of the team's seven field goals and added eight rebounds and a pair of blocks. The 19 points are the lowest opponent point total allowed by the Eagles since 1995 and the second fewest allowed in program history (18 points to Hilbert in 1995).

Emory returns to the court at the end of the month with back-to-back home matchups against Berry College (Dec. 30) and Bates College (Jan. 2).
