ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The women's soccer team squared off with No. 3 Washington University and was handed a 3-0 defeat on Tuesday night.

Washington scored two first half goals and struck for one goal in the second half.

Despite encountering constant pressure, the Greenville defense handled themselves and kept WashU from running away with the contest.

Goalkeeper Marjory Coates faced a flurry of activity as the Bears produced 30 shots over the course of the match. She collected 10 saves.

The Panthers (0-1-1) go to Olivet on Friday for a two-match swing in Michigan.
