Men's Tennis Blanked By NYU, 9-0

BRONX, N.Y. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to New York University (NYU), 9-0, in non-conference action on Saturday night at the Stadium Tennis Center.

In doubles play, the Gulls showed plenty of fight at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots as the pairings of Antonio Marsallo (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) / Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.) and Julian Richtarich (Naples, Fla.) / Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) fell in tightly contested matches, 8-3, respectively.

"Credit to NYU — they are a regionally ranked team for a reason," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "They were a little more comfortable staying tight at the baseline than we were, but we stayed tight with them and just need to see it more."

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (1-6) travels to MIT to take on Wentworth on Saturday, March 25 at 5:45 PM. NYU (5-2) hosts TCNJ Saturday, March 25 at 12 PM.
