(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – A 23-5 run by the Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team in the final eight minutes of the game propelled the Tartans to a 63-52 home victory against Penn State Behrend on Wednesday, November 30.

How it Happened
- The Tartans trailed 47-40 with eight minutes to play before roaring back with a 14-0 run that extended to 23-5 to end the game.
- Junior Jack Stone had six points during the 14-0 spurt and nine of his game-high 19 points during the final run.
- The game was tied at 24-all at halftime following three lead changes and three ties. Stone hit his second of three three-pointers for the game on the Tartans' last possession of the half to tie the score.

- Stone led the Tartans' offense with 19 points, hitting 8-of-15 attempts from the floor and three from behind the arc.
- Freshman Justin Allen scored in double figures for the third straight game dropping in 13 points including the first six of the game for the Tartans.
- Junior R.J. Holmes led the team on the boards with 10 rebounds
- Holmes and senior Kevin Sax each had two blocks. It was the fifth straight game Sax recorded at least one block.

- Matthew McDonough led the team with 17 points, making four three-pointers.
- Tommy DiRienzo led the game on the glass with 12 rebounds.
- The Lions collected 12 assists on 16 made baskets.
