In two appearances, senior Jared Fong earned his fourth win of the season and NCAA Division III leading 10th save of the year as Washington University won the Decatur Regional to advance to the NCAA Division III Baseball World Series for the first time in program history. He struck out two batters in the final inning to preserve a 2-0 Bears’ victory over Illinois College in the opening game and then tossed 7.1 innings of shutout ball, yielding four hits, in a 2-0 championship game win over Denison University.
