From University of Rochester Athletics

Two rising seniors from the University of Rochester men's basketball team will be participating in a series of exhibition games against professional all-star teams in Spain in early August.

Ross Gang and T.C. Price are taking part in an exhibition tour organized by USA East Coast Basketball. The umbrella group has three all-star teams – Red, White, Blue – coached by legendary coaches. The rosters are filled with players from all three NCAA Divisions – I, II, and III.

The Rochester duo are players on the White Team. The 10-person roster includes seven Division I players (from South Carolina, Providence, Manhattan, Iowa (two), Mercy, and California) plus one from Molloy College, a Division II institution.

Jim Boeheim of Syracuse is the head coach of the White team. He will be assisted by Adrian Autry of Syracuse and Josh Einhorn of Dartmouth College.

The Moneyball Sportswear Training Camp will be staged at Manhattan College in Upper Manhattan. The teams will practice on July 31 and August 1, then will depart for Spain. They will play two games against professional all-star teams from Spain and one game against a similar team from France.

Gang and Price are two of five players from the University Athletic Association taking part in the training camp and the upcoming exhibition games. The Blue Team, coached by Frank Martin of South Carolina, includes Collin Sawyer of Brandeis University and two players from NYU – Cinque Stevens and Ephraim Reed. There are no UAA-affiliated players on the Red Team (coached by Larry Brown), but the roster includes Jimmy and Buddy Boeheim of Syracuse.
