Washington University Men's Soccer Student-Athlete Hudson Hazlewood Representing Guyana at U20 Championship

Freshman midfielder Hudson Hazlewood of the Washington University in St. Louis men's soccer team is representing the country of Guyana at the Concacaf U20 Men's Championship on Feb. 15-23 in Nicaragua.

Guyana posted a 6-0 victory over Montserrat in the opening match, and then shutout Saint Vincent & the Grenadines 3-0 in the second match. Hazlewood has appeared in the starting lineup in both contests for Guyana.

The teams will compete for four of the 20 berths in the 2020 Concacaf U-20 Championship final tournament. 

Hazlewood saw action as a freshman on the junior varsity squad for WashU in 2019, and also appeared in one varsity game for the Bears. He is enrolled in the College of the Arts & Sciences, and is the son of Dexter and Jocelyn Hazlewood.
