Brandeis University juniors Jeffrey Chen and Adam Tzeng advanced to the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championship doubles final. After a 6-0, 6-2 win in the opening round, the duo came back from a one-set deficit in back-to-back matches, surviving three match points in each contest. They defeated the top-seeded team from Case Western Reserve University, 6-7 (6-8), 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 in the quarterfinals before topping their Gustavus Adolphus College opponents, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) in the semifinals. Chen and Tzeng fell in the final to a Carleton College tandem that included the singles national champion.
