UChicago Places Second at North Central Invitational

The University of Chicago men's track and field team maintained its run of success with high placements at North Central College's Pat Heenan Invitational on Friday.

The UChicago men took second to host North Central with 99 points in the nine-team field.

The Maroon men compiled three wins of their own. Senior Alexander Scott tossed a winning shot put of 16.83 meters. Junior Nike Reid snuck under seven seconds in the 60 meters at 6.99. First-year Cy Chittenden was victorious in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:38.72.
