University of Chicago soccer players Hanna Watkins and Aaron Katsimpalis were each honored as Second Team All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) on Thursday evening.

This marks the sixth-straight year that UChicago women's soccer has produced an All-American and the fourth-straight year for men's soccer.

Watkins concluded her decorated career with a 2019 campaign that featured team highs of 12 goals, six assists and 30 points in 20 games played. The attacking midfielder also led the team with five game-winning goals. A two-time All-Region recipient, Watkins totaled 35 goals, 19 assists and 89 points in 82 career games played. She ranks No. 4 in school history in goals, No. 5 in points and No. 9 in assists.

Katsimpalis submitted one of the best goalkeeper seasons in program history over the course of 2019. The junior tallied the third-best goals against average in Maroon men's soccer records (0.64 GAA) while making 73 saves for an .849 save percentage. Katsimpalis' season record stood at 12-2-5, compiling 10 shutouts overall. In the career record books, he is No. 2 in shutouts (24), No. 3 in goals against average (0.69) and No. 6 in minutes played (4,283).
