From NYU Athletics

Kim Wyant, who has served as Head Coach of the New York University men's soccer team since 2015, was recently featured on the USA Soccer website.

Wyant, who has led her NYU teams to an overall 43-40-8 record and four postseason appearances in her five seasons, was the goalkeeper in the first-ever match played by the United States Women's National Team.

A pioneer of women's soccer in the United States and as the only current female head coach of a men's NCAA varsity soccer team, Wyant offers great perspective of her career.

"I'm just very grateful that I was in the time period where more opportunities were given to girls [and] women to use their talent," Wyant explains. "I want to continue to make a difference. I am very happy at NYU and I still have a lot of work to do."
