The Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer seniors Emma Greenfield and Katy Mockett earned College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) First Team Academic All-America honors, the organization announced Wednesday.

For the 2020-21 academic year, nominations were based on career statistics.

This marks the third career Academic All-America honor for Mockett, who earned third team honors in 2018 and second team honors in 2019, while Greenfield earns the honor for the first time.

Mockett, who recently graduated with a degree in Systems Engineering, appeared in 63 career games, making 42 starts. Mockett was part of the WashU defense that set a single-season record in 2018, allowing just six goals in 22 games and tying the program record with 16 shutouts. The following year, the WashU defense notched 13 shutouts and allowed just nine goals in 22 games. Although a defender, Mockett recorded two goals and four assists in her career. As a junior, Mockett also earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors.

Greenfield, who recently graduated with a Mathematics and Computer Science degree, has had a solid career as a goalkeeper for the Bears. In three seasons, she started 58 of 62 games played, compiling an impressive 52-4-3 career record. In total, Greenfield allowed just 19 goals for a career goals-against average of 0.33. She also made 97 saves for a career save percentage of .836. During her sophomore campaign, Greenfield recorded a program-best 21-1 record and a NCAA best 13 shut-outs. She is a three-time All-UAA selection and a three-time United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree.

With the addition of this year's awards, WashU women's soccer now has 13 Academic All-America honors in program history.
