Bears Win Seven Titles at Hilltop Invitational

The Washington University in St. Louis women's indoor track and field team won seven event titles at the Illinois College Hilltop Invitational held Friday in Jacksonville, Ill.

Junior Savannah Groos got a PR in the 200M (26.44). Sophomore Alicia Gupte won the 400M followed by sophomore Katherine Dudley (59.89) and juniors Sophie Grigaux (1:00.26), Josephine Simon (1:00.34) and Alana Bojar (1:02.5).

Freshman Aoife Dunne took second in the 800 M with a time of 2:17.35 followed by senior Sara Mesiano (2:17.54) and junior Emily Stegmeier (2:17.75). Senior Anna Cossio and junior Rachel Holstein jumped 1.55m in the High Jump. Junior Julia Dannenbaum took first in the Pole Vault followed by sophomore Amanda Katz (3.26m) and senior Annika Boyd (3.11m)

Sophomore Zi'Onay Walker took first in the triple jump followed by junior Elise Chao (11.37m) and sophomore Aryn Lyke (11.10m).
