First-year runner Samantha Giordani won two events and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay to help lead the Tartans to a runner-up finish at the seven-team Roanoke College Noke Elite Meet. She won the 200-meter dash (25.77 seconds) and the 400-meter dash (1:00.17), while running on the relay that won in 4:12.36. Her time in the 200 ranks 10th in NCAA Division III.
