Fresh off a dominant 9-0 win over Muskingum University on Monday, The College of Wooster had the tables turned on it, as Case Western Reserve University, No. 27 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings, topped the Fighting Scots by a 9-0 count on Wednesday afternoon at Cleveland, Ohio.

Wooster (5-7) was competitive against the Spartans (7-6) at a couple spots in the lineup, specifically at No. 5 singles, where Laura Kummer, who typically plays in the sixth-slot, took her opponent the distance in the second set of a 6-0, 7-6 (7-2) setback.

Also noteworthy was Rachel Molé's efforts at No. 1 singles, as she won five games against her opponent, but ultimately came up short 6-3, 6-2.

It will be another tough match-up the next time out, as the Scots again visit a nationally-ranked program, No. 22 Denison University (4-6), on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
