University of Chicago men's basketball player Wayne Simon was selected to the 2013-14 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Monday.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior and senior varsity basketball players who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. A total of 895 student-athletes from 338 institutions earned the distinction in 2013-14.
Simon wrapped up his senior season with averages of 8.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. The point guard ranked second on the team with a .514 field-goal percentage. The Maroons concluded the year with a 15-10 overall record.
