Emory University sophomore forward Matt Davet averaged 26.0 points and 8.0 rebounds as the Eagles split road games on their Midwest swing. He scored 20 of his 25 points in the second half of the Eagles’ 108-98 win over Washington University. On Sunday, Davet netted a career-high 27 points in a 96-86 overtime loss to University of Chicago. For the weekend, he shot 53.3 percent from the floor, 46.2 percent from three-point range, and 87.5 percent from the free throw line.
