With three men shooting below 80, Rochester sits in third
place out of 25 teams at the
31st Annual Duke Nelson Invitational
being hosted by Middlebury College.
Collectively, the Yellowjackets totaled 313 strokes.
Middlebury is first with 305 strokes and RPI second with 309.
Johnson & Wales and Salem State are tied for fourth palce with
315 strokes.
Rochester's individual leader after the first day is Jona
Scott who fired a five-over 76. Dom Schumacher had a 78, and Matt
Van Niekerk shot a 79. Luis Arteaga and Matt Michael finished with
identical scores of 80. The tournament concludes on
Sunday.
