Jordan Klodowski Leads Tartans to Third-Place Showing at Hal Hansen Invitational

The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team finished third at the Hal Hansen Invitational after a two-day, 36-hole tournament against a field of Division II teams and one NAIA school. On Monday, the Tartans fired a 310 to total 616 for the weekend on the par-72 course hosted by Clarion University at the Treasure Lake Resort in Dubois, Pennsylvania.

The Tartans were led by junior Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa./Kittanning) who finished fourth with a two-day total of 151 after shooting a 77 on Monday. Junior George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) shot a 76 on Monday and finished tied for 11th with a two-day final score of 154.

Also on the course for the Tartans on Monday was sophomore Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School). The sophomore finished Monday with a five-over par 79 and totaled 156 for the tournament to tie for 16th place.

Freshman Austin Lin (Los Gatos, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) equaled his Sunday score with another 78 to finish tied for 20th with a two-day score of 156 while sophomore Adrian Del Bosque(Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) totaled a 162 after a round of 84 on Monday.

Playing as an individual, freshman Patrick Tan (Vancouver, British Columbia/Prince of Wales Secondary) also shot a 154 for the weekend after a second-round score of 78.
