Carnegie Mellon Finishes Second at Kravetz Invitational

The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team finished the Kravetz Invitational, hosted by the University of Rochester, on Saturday, April 16 in second place behind Franklin & Marshall College, after shooting a two-day total of 625. The Tartans shot 305 at the par-72 Oak Hill Country Club after carding a 320 on Friday at the par-71 Irondequoit Country Club.

On Saturday, junior Brad Jennette (Pittsford, N.Y./ Pittsford Sutherland) improved 10 strokes from his opening round to lead the Tartans overall for the 36-hole tournament.  Jennette fired a one-over par 73 Saturday to end with a 156. Sophomore Adrian Del Bosque (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academy) tied with Jennette for seventh individually, as he also ended the two day event with a 156 after carding a round of 77 on Saturday to go with his opening round score of 79.

Junior George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) ended one-stroke back of Jennette and Del Bosque with a 157 after ending with rounds of 80 and 77. Sophomore Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) shot a 160 (82-78) and junior Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa.) ended with a 162 (79-83).
