From University of Rochester Athletics

Sparked by three men shooting four-over or below, the University of Rochester posted a first-day score of 297 strokes at the GOLFWEEK Fall Invitational at the Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, FL. The resort is located on the Florida Gulf Coast, well east of Pensecola.
 
Aleksander Overli shot a two-under 69 to lead UR. He bogeyed two holes, had a double bogey on a third hole, and recorded six birdies. Jack Mulligan was close behind with a two-over 73. Mulligan had three bogeys through 17 holes, then birdied the par-three 18th hole to get to 73.
 
Rochester's third man at 75 or lower is Ryan Dougherty. He had four bogeys. Freddie Gluck fired an 80 on the first day and Declan Hickton had an 83.
 
With its first-day total of 297, Rochester sat in 13th place out of 18 teams.
