The New York University men's golf team shot 297 in Sunday's final round of the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and finished in eighth place.
The two-day tournament was hosted by Skidmore College at the par-71, 6,310-yard Balston Spa Golf Country Club in Balston Spa, NY, on Saturday and Sunday, April 8-9.
The Violets, who shot 293 on Saturday for a 590 total, finished five strokes behind seventh-place Middlebury College in the 19-team field.
Trinity College won the team title with a two-day score of 564.
Rohan Aerrabolu was NYU's top finisher, tying for 15th place (71-74, 145).
Up next for the Violets was Ryan Leung, who tied for 25th place (73-74, 147).
One stroke behind Leung was Charles Hsieh (74-74, 148), who tied for 32nd.
Kevin Kim (75-75, 150) and Ishaan Shroff (77-80, 157) tied for 50th and 81st, respectively, in the 108-person field.
