- After a chippy first 10 minutes of the second half – featuring four yellow cards, three of which were assessed to the Judges – Case Western Reserve's Chris Cvecko equalized on a penalty kick in the 56th minute.
- The Judges went back on top thanks to senior Chris Bradley (E. Brunswick, N.J. / E. Brunswick) , another reserve. Bradley came on just before another Ocel corner and headed it home for the game-winner, the first game-winner of his career.
