From Washington University Athletics

The Washington University in St. Louis men's soccer team received an at-large bid and will host 2015 NCAA Division III First and Second Round action Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 14-15, at Francis Field in St. Louis.

This marks the first time since 2011 WashU has hosted a home NCAA Tournament contest.

No. 18 WashU and Millsaps College will square off in a first-round game at 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by DePauw University against Westminster College (Mo.) at 7:30. The winners of Saturday's games will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday for a berth into the Sectional Semifinals.

WashU (11-4-3) finished in fourth place in the University Athletic Association (UAA) and was ranked No. 1 in the Central Region. The Bears are making their first NCAA appearance since 2012 and 22nd overall. WashU has a 28-20-2 (.580) record in NCAA Tournament play with five Final Four appearances (1978, 1979, 1980, 1985, 1987).

Millsaps (14-4) earned its first NCAA Tournament bid in school history by winning the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament Championship with a 2-1 victory over Sewanee: University of the South Saturday. WashU defeated Millsaps in both previous meetings in 2005 and 2007.

DePauw (11-3-4) earned an at-large bit to the NCAA Tournament after falling in the semifinals of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). The Tigers are making their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance and have a 2-10 all-time mark. WashU leads the all-time series with DePauw 10-2-3, and the teams have not met since 1993.

Westminster (17-2) claimed the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament Championship for the third-straight year with a 2-1 win over Webster University. The Bluejays have a 2-3 record in three previous trips (2002, 2013, 2014), and made an appearance in the Sweet 16 in 2013. WashU defeated Westminster 1-0 on the road Oct. 7, and is 18-1-2 all-time against the Bluejays.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $4 for children under 12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3-12. The box office will open one hour prior to kickoff each day.
