From Case Western Reserve University Athletics

Case Western Reserve University Head Men's Soccer Coach Brandon Bianco has been named the chair of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Committee.  His term will begin on September 1st, and run through the Spring of 2019.

Bianco has spent the last two years as the Chair of the Great Lakes Region, in addition to serving on the national committee, which is responsible for the organization, selection and governance of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.

"I have become the person and professional I have because of the game of soccer," said Bianco.  "Many of my fondest experiences have happened around the game and I feel fortunate to give back to our sport through leadership of the Division III Men's Soccer Championship Committee.  I look forward to our committee's continued work to provide a tremendously impactful experience for our student-athletes."

Bianco will be starting his fifth season at Case Western Reserve in 2017, leading the team to a 32-26-13 record during his previous four years, good for a .542 winning percentage.  He has mentored 17 All-University Athletic Association selections, including conference Most Valuable Player and All-America Chris Cvecko in 2015.  The team has also earned NSCAA Academic Team honors each season under his watch, and had the third-highest grade point average among Division III squads in 2016.
