Washington Men's Swimming & Diving Wins Nine Events En Route to Win at Principia

The Washington University in St. Louis men's swimming & diving team won by more than 100 points at Principia, finishing with a 169-57 victory.

Junior Luke Dobben was a double winner for the Washington U. men, swimming a season-best time of 51.67 to win the 100 butterfly, and taking first in the 200 individual medley in 1:58.36. Freshmen Andrew Ellison (100 free – 50.77), Reese Frerichs (500 free – 4:55.96), Michael Lagieski (1,000 free – 10:27.04) and Matt Liu (100 backstroke – 54.71), and senior Jason Wan (200 free – 1:50.06) also won individual events for the Washington U. men.

The Bears also finished first in both men's relays. Sophomores Luke Duschl, Reed Dalton, Kaisen Yao and RJ Petrella won the 200-medley relay in 1:37.80. Senior Brian Carpenter, freshman Paul Huang, junior Jacob Hale and junior Michael Postetter teamed up to win the 200-free relay in 1:31.55.
