Washington Swimming & Diving Named Scholar All-America Teams

The Washington University in St. Louis men's and women's swimming & diving teams both received Scholar All-America honors for the Fall 2013 semester, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The Washington U. men posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.36 to tie for 18th among NCAA Division III institutions. All eight members of the University Athletic Association (UAA) were among the 76 schools represented on the NCAA Division III Men's Team Scholar All-America list.

On the women's side, Washington U.'s team GPA of 3.45 put the Bears in a tie for 26th in NCAA Division III. Overall, 121 women's NCAA Division III teams were named to the Team Scholar All-America list, including all eight UAA institutions.

In order to receive CSCAA Scholar-All-America honors, a team must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually to teams who reach the GPA standard in the fall semester, and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
